- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes

- Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup. Let it cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, remaining 3 cups of cold water, and the cooled simple syrup. Stir well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if needed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
