- 1/2 cup lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a sheet pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing well.
- Fold in strawberries and lemon zest.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before frosting or serving.

- Use room-temperature eggs for better mixing.
- Adjust sugar if strawberries are very sweet.
- For a vegan version, substitute butter, milk, and eggs.
