Description
Starbucks copycat birthday cake pops are delicious treats that mimic the popular Starbucks dessert. They are fun to make and perfect for parties or special occasions.

- 1 box vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- 1 package white candy melts
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
- Mix in the vanilla frosting until the mixture holds together when pressed.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Melt the candy melts with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it halfway into a cake ball.
- Dip the cake pop into the melted candy, tapping off excess, and decorate with sprinkles.
- Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to set.
- Let them harden completely before serving.
Notes
- Use a stand mixer to crumble the cake for easier preparation.
- If the cake mixture is too dry, add a little more frosting.
- Work quickly when dipping the cake pops to prevent the candy coating from hardening.
- Store cake pops in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
