- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Bamboo skewers or popsicle sticks
Instructions
- Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly.
- Insert a skewer into each strawberry.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring. Cook until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Dip each strawberry into the sugar syrup, coating evenly.
- Let excess syrup drip off, then place on parchment paper to harden.
- Serve once cooled and hardened.

- Use a candy thermometer for accurate temperature.
- Work quickly as the syrup hardens fast.
- Store in a cool, dry place to prevent stickiness.
