- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened

- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly mashed sweet potatoes for the best texture.
- Adjust sugar to taste if the sweet potatoes are very sweet.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of icing or whipped cream.
