Instructions
- Mix flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil, knead into a dough.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Press the dough into a deep dish pizza pan, forming a thick crust.
- Layer mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the crust.
- Add cooked Italian sausage on top of the cheese.
- Spread crushed tomatoes mixed with oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Bake at 425°F for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
