Instructions

  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
  5. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into heart shapes.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Cool cookies completely on wire racks.
  8. Mix powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water for icing. Adjust consistency as needed.
