- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add oats, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
- Fold in chopped nuts or seeds if using.
- Press the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a softer texture, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk.
- Substitute almond butter with peanut butter if preferred.
