Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce.
- Dip each chicken thigh in the buttermilk mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken thighs for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Adjust the cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
