- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and milk.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the egg mixture.
- Spread batter evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Let the cake cool slightly, then roll it up with a clean towel. Cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Unroll the cake, spread the filling, and roll it back up. Chill before serving.
