Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap.
- Roll into a log shape and twist the ends to seal.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Slice and place a pat on top of your cooked steak before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover compound butter in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
- Customize with additional herbs like rosemary or chives.
