A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish with creamy Cajun flavors and sausage.
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the mixture and stir well.
- Add pasta and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
- Use any pasta shape you like.
