Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix sausage, thyme, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Roll out pastry sheet. Cut into 3-inch wide strips.
  4. Divide sausage mixture into portions. Shape into logs along each pastry strip.
  5. Brush edges with beaten egg. Roll pastry around sausage, sealing the edge.
  6. Cut into 2-inch pieces. Place on baking sheet. Brush tops with egg.
  7. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
