- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix sausage, thyme, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Roll out pastry sheet. Cut into 3-inch wide strips.
- Divide sausage mixture into portions. Shape into logs along each pastry strip.
- Brush edges with beaten egg. Roll pastry around sausage, sealing the edge.
- Cut into 2-inch pieces. Place on baking sheet. Brush tops with egg.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool 5 minutes before serving.

- Use store-bought puff pastry for quick preparation.
- Customize with herbs or spices to your taste.
